...but we did manage to construct (buy) a nice christmas (note the Atheist "A") tree, some lights and stockings.
And tonight we got word that the local missionaries will conscript kids to chant godly hymns at us on that frightful day which approacheth...maybe we can counter with a lesson in astronomy, biology, expose them to a vault full of artwork based on geological and biological sciences, the truth behind a rainbow, a geological debriefing and, of course, a free copy of the Origin of Species.
Or, perhaps they will sing Frosty the Snowman and all will be good. Either way, its xmas, its cold here (I just bought a puffy winter coat!) and we are getting ready for a wee li'l morning of tree sitting and gift unwrapping.
